Two movers at $135 on a four-bedroom house will run most of a day; four movers at $225 will finish it in a morning, and the second option frequently lands lower on the invoice. We run that arithmetic for your specific job before quoting rather than selling you the headline rate.
Bedroom count, stairs or lift at either end, how close the truck can park, and the heavy or awkward items — piano, pool table, stone table, safe. Those four answers are what let us commit to a written figure in 60 min instead of hedging.

Yes — a 2-hour minimum on all local jobs. It covers our call-out, travel and setup time. After that we charge by the half hour, so you only pay for the time we actually use.
You pay for the time we use, after the 2-hour minimum. If we finish in 3.5 hours, that is what you pay — not the original 4-hour estimate.
Never. Stairs, lifts and long walks from the truck to the door are all included in your hourly rate. We just ask about them up front so the estimate holds.
No. Weekend and public holiday moves carry no surcharge. They do book out first, so if your date is fixed, get in early.
Yes — every rate on this page is GST inclusive. The figure we quote is the figure on the invoice.
